Leg

In the fall in the Beechcraft, Boone has sustained a terrible leg injury. Boone is losing too much blood, much of it pooling into the injured leg. Jack decides that to save Boone's life, he must amputate the leg. Jack and Michael build the "Amputron 4200" from a piece of the airline wreckage, but Boone stops Jack before he can amputate, and dies shortly thereafter.
