Michael, Kate and Locke go hunt boar using Locke's knives. Locke uses sign language to communicate, like pointing to his eye as one of the words, or military signals. A big boar surprises them and charges at them. Kate and Michael run, and Locke is knocked down. The boar gores Michael in the thigh.
