MAN OF SCIENCE, MAN OF FAITH 

Sarah, Jack's future wife, is rushed into the St. Sebastian Hospital after a serious car crash. She hit an SUV and the other driver, Mr. Adam Rutherford, dies in the ER. Sarah had a piece of the steering column in her chest, fluid in her lungs, and fracture-dislocation of the thoracic lumbar spine with multiple crushed vertebrae (her back was broken). Also, her spleen was ruptured and was bleeding into her abdomen. She was upset that she wouldn't be able to dance at her wedding with Kevin (the jerk). Later, she lets Jack off the hook and says she knows she won't walk at her wedding but she could roll. After the surgery, she is able to wiggle her toes.
