HURLEY: Just point me in the right direction. I'll take care of my own business with my own tools.

(Hurley jabs his make-shift spear.)

JIN: (chuckles) I don't play with amateurs. Run along now.

(Jin points back into the jungle.)

HURLEY:You just said something mean, didn't you?

(Undeterred Hurley follows Jin and tries to catch fish with a net made from hit shirt. Amist much splashing, Hurley catches nothing.)

HURLEY: Damn it!

(Jin pulls in his net with several fish. He lays it on the beach, then turns and looks at Hurley.)

JIN: (Smiling and pointing at fish) These are mine, so don't eat them.

(Frustrated, Hurley throws in the towel (er, net) and stomps to shore prepared to give up. He collapses, yelling in pain, after stepping on a sea urchin. Jin rushes over to Hurley to help.)

HURLEY: Ow! You understand me?

JIN: What happened?

(Jin puts Hurley's arm over his shoulder and pulls him to shore.)

HURLEY: (shouting) You understand infection? Gangrene?! Amputation?!!

(Hurley is leans on Jin who sinks into the wet sand under the weight. He half-drags, half-carries Hurley to the beach.)

JIN: Come here! Sit down!

(Jin drops Hurley onto the sand.)

HURLEY: Aah! Ow!

(Jin looks at Hurley's foot.)

HURLEY: Ow! Oh, you gotta do something for me.
JIN: (referring to the urchin spines) But we have to take these out.

HURLEY CONTINUES TO PLEAD: Peeeee on it. Pee on my foot. I'll lose... Just do it. I'll lose my foot if you don't. Just peeee!!!! Pee on it! Pee on ...

(Hurley begs Jin to pee on his foot. Jin is confused. Hurley reaches for Jin's zipper, Jin bats his hands away.)

JIN: (in English) No! No!*

(Later, Jin hunches over something at the shoreline. Hurley asks if he speaks english, because there's a rumor that he does. Jin glances at him. Hurley says "Your wife is hot." Jin looks at him again, then walks over with a bit of raw urchin in his hand and motions for Hurley to eat it.)

JIN: Please eat this.

HURLEY: Oh, I get it. This is some kind of payback because I wouldn't eat the urchin the other time? I eat this, you give me a fish, right?

(Hurley tries to choke it down, but gets sick to his stomach. Jin smiles and pats him on the back.)

(Later, Jin brings a fish to the caves for Hurley, then joins Sun.)

SUN: Have you eaten?

JIN: (inaudible)...I have to wash my hand...(inaudible).

JIN: What are you doing? No, stupid.
