Compass

STATUS: NON-FUNCTIONAL

Sayid makes a homemade compass with a piece of cork, a needle, a magnet and some water. Locke walks out of the jungle, lies about where he and Boone have been, and gives his compass to Sayid saying, "I don't need it anymore."
While they are talking, Sayid set the new compass down next to the magnet he was working with. Later, Sayid realizes that the compass is off by more than 2-3 degrees (which a minor magnetic anomaly might explain) but Locke's compass is more than that, and talks with Jack about Locke's odd behavior.

 

Fishing Net

Jin seems to have fashioned a pretty decent looking fishing net. Could be mesh from the cargo hold.

Hallucinogenic Goo
Creator: Locke
STATUS: FUNCTIONAL

Locke gives Boone an experience he won't forget by drugging him, subsequently, Boone has hallucinations about he and his sister in danger of being killed by the monster. In his hallucination Shannon gets killed. He rushes back to camp to confront Locke, angry and blaming Locke for Shannon's death, until Locke points out that it was all in his mind and that Shannon was perfectly fine. He asked Boone how he felt when he saw Shannon lying dead. Boone replied that he "felt relieved".
