Glasses

Jack diagnoses Sawyer with far-sightedness and Sayid makes him sets of glasses to try. It seems that one eye is worse than the other so Sayid makes pairs out of glasses that he has broken in half and then solders together. Sawyer has since lost these glasses while on the raft and now he is sporting a new pair that are close to the scrip that he needs in order to read.

Trebuchet
Creator: Locke, Boone
STATUS: NON-FUNCTIONAL

Locke and Boone built a trebuchet in an attempt to break open the hatch. Technically, it was more of a cross between a trebuchet and a lever and a giant hammer. Their machine failed to break the glass and broke apart on impact.
