If that recalls a certain1960s TV series and 1993-feature film, it's intentional. That's ourlittle wink, wink, nod, nod to The Fugitive, says Lindelof. The homage evidently escaped the 25-year-old Lilly, who's seen neither the seriesnor the film. “I had no idea, says the Canadian-born actress, whoseLost role marks her first professional speaking part on film or television.

    WKRP in Cincinnati (1978–1982) was an American situation comedy that featured the misadventures of the staff of a struggling radio station in Cincinnati, Ohio.

    Dr. Johnny Fever was an off-the-wall character who was a DJ on the sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati. He was inspired by Skinny Bobby Harper. The character was portrayed by Howard Hesseman.
