Sun believes that Jin killed someone on her father's behalf. In reality, he saved a man's life, preventing Mr. Paik's goons from killing him.

Walt burnt the raft

First Revealed to: Walt confirms that he did to Locke

 

After suspecting that Jin set the raft on fire, the surcvivors are convinced by Locke that the Others are to blame. Later, he confronts Walt with the knowledge that Walt was the arsonist. Walt admits that he did it because he doesn't want to leave the island.
