Jin is involved in criminal activities
Revealed to viewers and Sun
In a flashback, Jin comes home late and rushes into the bathroom followed by a worried Sun. She sees him washing blood off his hands and arm and asks him whose blood it is. Jin doesn't answer, but says he was working and what he does he does for them. Since Jin works for Sun's father it is very possible that he is some sort of mob-type boss and is using Jin as one of his heavy hands to get what he wants in his successful business.
[Flashback: Sun is sleeping on the couch with the dog, now grown.
Sound of front door opening. Jin running into the bathroom. Sun,
concerned, follows him.]
Sun
Are you alright?
[She goes into the bathroom. Jin has a lot of blood on his hands and shirt.]
Sun
Please talk to me. Are you hurt? [Jin is washing blood off his
hands] What happened to you? What were you doing? Whose blood is this?
What were you doing? What happened?
Jin
I was working.
Sun
Doing what? What do you do for my father? Look at me? Answer me. Look at me.
[He pushes her away. She slaps him across the face. He restrains himself, but gives her a mean look.]
Jin:
I do whatever your father tells me. I do it for us.
[Sun leaves the bathroom. Jin continues to wash.]

Sun's father involved in crime
First revealed to viewers
From this episode it has been noted that it looks as though Sun's father is involved in some sort of mob-type organization in which he is the boss. It is not known at this time if Sun really knows what her father's business is and Jin is reluctant to tell her. See the above entry.

Sun speaks English
Revealed to viewers and Michael
Sun seeks out Michael to resolve the situation between him and Jin and she does so by speaking English much to the surprise of the viewers and also Michael. She tells him that Jin doesn't know she can speak English.

Sun planned to leave Jin
Revealed to viewers
In flashbacks we learn that Sun was planning to leave Jin at the airport in Sydney by running away. But at the last minute she changed her mind and ended up getting on the ill-fated flight 815.

Skeletons in the Caves
Discovered by Jack and Kate, later Charlie and Locke
Inside the caves Jack and Kate discover two skeletons which looked to have been laid to rest there. While they were discussing it, Charlie and Locke come up and see the skeletons also. Locke dubs them their very own "Adam and Eve".

Black and White Stones
Discovered by Jack and Kate
When examining the skeletons Jack pulls a pouch out of the clothing of one of the skeletons that contains two stones, one black and one white. When Charlie and Locke come up Jack quickly puts them back in the pouch and pockets it.
