THE PRODIGAL SON 
 
Sun is under the belief that Jin's father is dead. Jin visits his father, a humble village fisherman, after he refuses to carry out the hit on Byung Han for his father-in-law Mr Paik.
 
He admits that he was ashamed of his father. His father welcomes him back, tells him that the world is good, and encourages him to get away from Mr. Paik and save his marriage.

This shows Jin as a symbolic "Prodigal Son"
