Carmen covers the Jesus statue's ears as she tells Hurley the reason she wants his father to stay, "I have needs".

Later, Hurley's dad wakes him up and asks Hurley why the headphones and Hurley said it was to keep out the noise.  His dad says "your mother is very passionate woman" and Hurley is disgusted.  (I don't think that's what he was referring to as "noise")
