Jin pummelled Michael when he spotted Michael wearing the gold watch. Michael was badly beaten until Sayid jumped Jin and pulled him off, administering a few punches to calm him down. Jin was handcuffed to the plane. Sun outed her English speaking abilities to Michael, explaining that Jin thought he stole the watch. Michael took the watch back to Jin, yelled at him, and cut him loose from the plane with the axe. The handcuff remains on Jin's wrist. | |

Sun and Jin: In flashback, Jin returned from work with bloody shirt and hands. She confronted him in the bathroom, demanding to know what he was doing for her father. He pushed her, and she slapped him in return. He told her, "I do whatever your father tells me. I do it for us." She left the bathroom stunned.
