Locke takes Boone into the jungle. Boone tells Locke he wants to tell Shannon the truth about what they have been doing instead of hunting for boar.
They sit in front of the hatch wondering how they are going to get it open. Locke is mixing something in a coconut shell. Locke asks him if he has considered the ramifications and how he feels, that no one else is ready to know about the hatch. Locke hits Boone on the back of the head with the handle of a knife.
