Jin & Sun

    Had Sun run away, it is most likely that Jin would not have gotten on the plane. While speaking with his father, Jin says, "Her father wants me to deliver watches to his associates in Sydney and Los Angeles"

    Sun was planning to run away from Jin by escaping into a car that was meeting her at the airport at 11:15. At the last minute, when Jin showed her the white flower, she decided to go with him. It appears that her father bought the tickets for Jin and Sun, sending Jin to los Angeles to deliver watches to an associate.
