It is raining when Jack is attacked by Ethan. Just after the attack Jack & Kate find Charlie hanging in a tree, presumably hung by Ethan.
In PILOT 1, it is raining when the pilot of Oceanic 815 is killed by the monster. Later, it is raining when they see the monster for the second time on the beach.
In HOMECOMING, it is raining when Ethan falls for the trap set by Jack and company. Jack exacts his revenge on Ethan by knocking him out. As Ethan starts to gain consciousness, Charlie appears with a gun and shoots Ethan dead.
