Birds

Once again, the group is startled by a large bird in the jungle, but this time Hurley thinks he heard something strange: 
HURLEY: Did that bird just say my name?
SAWYER: Yeah, it did. Right before it crapped gold.

Blood

Desmond has Kelvin's blood on his hands: Desmond follows Kelvin out of the hatch, and discovers that Kelvin has been repairing his sailboat. Furious, Desmond slams Kelvin's head against a rock, killing him.

Boats

Desmond ends up on the island by entering a race around the world in a sailboat.  We find out he got the boat from Libby who offered it to him since her husband had died and didn't have use for it.  The boat is named Elizabeth.

Also notice the small life boat that apparently Kelvin was going to use to paddle out to the boat.

We also see the Others boat again in this episode when Michael and Walt leave in it after making a deal with the Others by bringing Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurley to them. (See Boats - Exodus 3)

Boxes

Desmond is released from prison, and Charles Widmore is waiting to greet him. Widmore presents to Desmond a box of letters that he had written to Penny, but that she never received, because Widmore had intercepted them.

Dolls

Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Michael and Hurley head out to confront the Others. Sayer finds a doll in the brush, but Kate stops him from picking it up, explaining that it is one of Danielle's traps.

Rocks

From the boat, Sayid, Jin and Sun see the rocks with the hole in the middle.

Kelvin discovers that Desmond has followed him out of the hatch: "Well, gosh, I didn't think you had the stones to come after me."
