Eko looks for his brother's body in the burnt Beechcraft, but it is not there.

When Locke informs Desmond that they are going to the Pearl Station, Desmond asks whether they are going to save Eko, or go use the Pearl computer. Locke's response: "Two birds, one stone."

As Eko emerges from the church, having killed the militia men inside, his hands are covered in their blood.
