In Locke's flashback, he is in an anger management group. A woman named Francine is telling the group that, "My mother stole again from me this week. I don't even keep money in my purse anymore. I've been hiding it. But when she wants a drink -- she stole $30. I know it may not seem like a lot of money to some of you, but it's a lot to me. And I want it back." Locke laughs at this and comments that he doesn't think $30 is worth getting angry about. The moderator of the group says, "Well, Francine feels like $30... Locke counteracts with his story about what his father did to him in taking/stealing his kidney adding angrily, "You want your damned $30 back? I want my kidney back! |
