    Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Sawyer refers to Sun and Jin as "Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon, a reference to the mega hit movie of the same name.  Interestingly enough Jin has had some martial arts training as trophies were seen in his father's home as a tribute to his son.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is a Chinese-language wuxia (chivalric martial arts) film released in 2000. A China-Hong Kong-Taiwan-United States co-production, it was directed by Ang Lee and features an international cast of ethnically Chinese actors, including Chow Yun-Fat, Michelle Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi and Chang Chen. It was choreographed by Yuen Wo Ping and is based on the fourth novel in a pentalogy, known in China as the Crane-Iron Pentalogy, by Wang Dulu.

    Zorro (The Legend of Zorro)

Sawyer calls Paulo "Zorro" as a reference to his latin roots.  Zorro has spawned many movies the most recent of which is "The Legend of Zorro" in 2005.

Zorro (sometimes with the definite article: El Zorro), Spanish for Fox, is the secret identity of Don Diego de la Vega (originally Don Diego Vega), a fictional nobleman and master swordsman living in Spanish and Mexican-era California. He defends the people of the land against tyrannical governors and other villains, and is not only much too cunning and foxlike for the bumbling authorities to be caught, but delights in publicly humiliating those same foes.
