Sawyer, Michael and Jin are in the pit that Eko and some of the other tailies threw them in. Ana Lucia, in a ruse to find out information, gets thrown in the pit also making them think she is also a captive. Sawyer tries to make plans to escape and explains to Ana Lucia:
