Anthony Cooper
Locke tells Walt that his father was not a good guy. (IT)
Cooper says he has tried having a family before and it didn't work out.
We learn that his long lost father, the wealthy Anthony Cooper, duped him into donating a kidney then abandoned him again. (DEM)

In (OR) Flashback, Locke sits out front of Anthony's house. Cooper gets into his car and he deals a blow to Locke.

Jin's Gold Watch
Jin attacks Michael when he sees him wearing what Michael calls a $20,000 gold watch.
In a flashback in (EX2) we find out why he went after Michael. We first see a flashback of Jin and Sun in the airport having a bit to eat. Sun hands Jin a sandwich and as she places it in front of him she spills his coffee. Jin gets up to wash up.
Jin is then seen in the restroom. There is a man wearing a flowery hawaiian type shirt (very touristy looking). He tells Jin he works for his father-in-law Mr. Paik and that he was following Jin and Sun. He knew they were planning on running away. He warns Jin to deliver the watch to Mr. Paik's friend in California. If he fails, he would lose Sun. (This explains why he went crazy when he saw Michael wearing it, and Sun thought it was just because of pride...little did she know)
In (EX3) Jin gives this watch to Michael.
Jin's Bloody Hands

In HORS, Jin came home with bloody hands and a stained shirt. He went directly to the bathroom to clean up and would tell Sun nothing. She pressed him, and he shouted that he was working for her father. He was doing it for her.
In IT we learned that - Jin was ordered by Mr. Paik to send a message to Byung Han. Misunderstanding the order, Jin botches the hit job by giving Han a verbal warning. In gratitude, Han gave Jin a puppy, which Jin took home to Sun.
In the background of the apartment, Han's young daughter watched Hurley's Winning Lotto Interview on Korean TV. The tv ticker translates as: Fortunate Winner, Los Angeles California.
Mr. Paik ordered Jin to drive White Shirt to finish the job. When he was sent back a second time to drive White Shirt to the hit, he saved Mr. Han from sure death by beating him severely. When he returned home his hands were covered in blood.
This resolves the mystery that was planted in HORS when Sun saw him come in with bloody hands and questioned him. It appears that Jin did not tell Sun what he did, only that he was working for her father and that he was doing it for her.
Handcuffs
Some believe there are 2 pairs of handcuffs. The pair Walt found, that have a short chain, and the pair that is put on Jin (I'm guessing Kate's) that has the long chain. - Sam G at The Fuselage
Oh and another thing - when Sayid barks at Sawyer to get the cuffs - the last time we saw them was when Michael gave them to Jack. So how did Sawyer get them? Can you picture Jack bartering the cuffs for something Sawyer has??? eh? - Yahof at the Fuselage

So here's what we got:
- Kate has short cuffs with a chain attached while on the plane.
- Kate grabs the Marshal's key and releases the cuffs when the plane is going down.
- Kate is seen coming out of the jungle after the crash rubbing her wrists.
- Walt finds short cuffs in the jungle.
- Sawyer accuses Sayid of being a prisoner on the plane.
- Michael hands Jack the short cuffs. (we don't know what he does with them)
- Sawyer kills the polar bear with the gun he said he took off the Marshal. Sayid is present during this conversation.
Quote: Shannon: "People don't carry guns on planes."
Sawyer: "They do if they're a U.S. Marshal, sweet cheeks. There was one on the plane.
Kate: "How do you know that."
Sawyer: I saw a guy lying there with an ankle holster so I took the gun. I thought it might come in handy. Guess what? I just shot a bear.
Kate: So why do you think he's a Marshal?
Sawyer: Because he had a clip on badge. (he holds it up) I took that too; thought it was cool.
In (TR) the Marshal wakes up and asks for his cuffs. All Jack finds in the jacket pocket is Kate's mug shot, no cuffs.

- Sayid asks Sawyer for the Sky Marshal cuffs to put on Jin. (the long cuffs)
Sayid: "The handcuffs from the Sky Marshal. Now." (Sawyer tries to hand them to Sayid)
