The Swan Hatch

The Hatch, found by Locke and Boone on their search for Claire, is buried in the ground about a half mile from the caves (according to Jack). Earlier, the diary writer gave a hint as to how far the hatch was from the beach saying it was a couple hour hike. Which actually makes you wonder how Kelvin ran to find Desmond who crashed on the reef and still managed to get back to the hatch within 108 minutes or less.


Since the end of season two, the Swan hatch no longer exists since Locke and Desmond failed to execute the numbers.  Desmond used the fail-safe key and the hatch apparently blew up.
