Christian lectures Sawyer in a bar in Sydney, mentioning the baseball team The Red Sox, and their legendary losing streak.

Later, Sawyer and Jack are talking, when Jack uses the same Red Sox expression, and Sawyer realizes that Christian must be Jack's father.

 

I Never Drinking Game

Sawyer and Kate play this college drinking game, sipping from a tiny yet apparently bottomless bottle of airplane booze numbered 815. One player says something he's never done. All other players who HAVE DONE that before must drink.

Over the course of the game, we learn that:

Kate "never went to college and then implied I had."
Kate has kissed a man.
Kate has worn worn pink.
Kate has never voted.
Kate has been in love.
Kate has never had a one night stand.
Kate was married briefly.
Kate wanted "carte blanche" because she wanted to spend time with Sawyer.

Sawyer has never kissed a man.
Sawyer has implied going to college, but never really did.
Sawyer wore pink in the 80s.
Sawyer has voted, but never for a Democrat.
Sawyer has never been in love.
Sawyer has had a one night stand.
Sawyer has never been married.
Sawyer blamed the boar for all his problems.
Sawyer has carried that letter around for 20 yrs because he can’t get over his baggage.

Neither one has been to Disneyland.
Both have killed someone.
