FLASHBACK SUMMARY:

Sawyer in a now very familiar scene. He's in bed with a beautiful woman when he has to rush out to make a meeting. He grabs his briefcase and just by chance of course his briefcase plops open and bundles of cash "accidentally" fall to the floor. Only this time, his target is on to him. But there's a surprise. Cassidy doesn't call the cops, she wants to play along and have Sawyer to teach her everything he knows.

Sawyer shows Cassidy how to do several cons. But Cassidy wants more. She wants to learn the long con. But when Sawyer says it takes money to make money and they didn't have it, Cassidy claims to now really lied about getting money from her divorce. The con is on.

Sawyer meet up with his old buddy, Gordie. We find out that Sawyer and Gordie have been pulling the long con on Cassidy the whole time! He knew the whole time she had the money. But when Sawyer says he's having second thoughts Gordie makes the decision real easy for him. Finish the job or, die.

Sawyer professs his "love" to Cassidy and begs her to take the money and leave before Gordie can kill them both. She does so hesitantly but goes. Sawyer then walks out to Gordie's car and sits and waits. Counts to 4 mississippi and then walks back in the house. Looks like Sawyer finished the con after all. Cassidy left without the money. Sawyer switched bags on her.
