Kate has fallen in love with a police officer, Kevin. They
are excited and prepaing for thier marriage when we learn that she has
told him her name is Monica. As Kate dresses for her wedding, her
mother-in-law to be gives her a necklace she was planning to give to a
daughter. Kevin and Kate marry, and Kate seems quite content in her new
life. So content, she contacts Ed Mars to beg him to not chase her
anymore.
The lies pile on for Kate in her new life, and after Kevin
presents airline tickets to Costa Rica, and a brief pregnancy scare,
Kate realizes that she can not stay with Kevin. She drugs her poor
husband, confesses who she is, and leaves him, tucking his mother's
necklace in his hand.
