Claire's Charlie Dream

Claire approaches Charlie, who is rigging a make-shift shovel with which to bury Ethan. He asks how she is feeling. She replies, "Very pregnant. I, um, had some dreams last night. Actually, more like memories. You were in them." She asks if he would like to go for a walk. He declines, explaining he has something to do.

 

Sawyer's Childhood Nightmare

Sawyer relives the day of his parent's murder-suicide in a nightmare. His mother hid him under the bed and told him to stay there.  He heard his parents arguing in the other room. His mother shouted, "What the hell is wrong with you? I'm calling the police! Get out of here! What are you doing? What the hell are you doing with a gun! Get out!" A gunshot exploded, and a thud as her body hit the floor.  Boots clomped toward the bedroom; Sawyer saw the boots approach the bed and heard it creak as his father sat down. The gun cocked and exploded; Sawyer stirs in his sleep and Kate tries to wake him.
