The Man Behind The Curtain
Ben, an adult now, accepts his father's attempt at bonding on his birthday. Roger has always blamed Ben for killing his mother in childbirth and has openly ignored his birthday because of this. When Ben accepts, they drive out to the mesa and seemingly start to talk. Ben then puts on a gas mask, opens a can of gas, and kills his father.
Roger, a man without a purpose after his wife died. Goes to the island and the Dharma Initiative. They give him the title of "workman" and he is insulted. But begrudgingly accepts his fate. He becomes an alcholic and his son Ben steers clear of him yet takes care of him. |
