The DHARMA Initiative was founded by a married couple, who were both doctoral candidates at the University of Michigan. The following is a list of known individuals affliated with the DHARMA Initaitve.

Known as The Others, they are the mysterious inhabitants of the island. Danielle Rousseau knows them as The Others. The Lostaways now use the term "The Others" when they come across anyone unknown on the island. They have kidnapped Alex, Zack and Emma and snatched Walt from the raft Michael had built.
