Turbine Man

Running past the spinning turbine in a panic, this unfortunate soul is sucked into it, thus setting off an explosion that nearly kills Charlie, Hurley, Claire and Jack.

 

The Pilot

Jack, Kate and Charlie find the pilot alive in the cockpit while they are on the transceiver expedition. The pilot is yanked out of the plane by "the monster." The Losties flee the cockpit and get separated while running through the jungle.

 

Charlie and Kate find each other and search for Jack. Kate finds the pilot's  wing pin on the ground in a puddle. Noting a reflection in the puddle, Kate looks up to find the pilot's mangled body perched high in the treetop above.
