Responsible for a Death

Boone reveals to
Locke that as a child he used to make his nanny, Teresa, go up and down the
stairs all day long tending to him. One day she took a bad step, and fell.
Teresa broke her neck and died as a result.

Eko's brother
comes to warn Eko to not go on the drug plane, because he has alerted the
authorities. The military/police arrive on the tarmac, and Yemi is shot in the
crossfire between them and Eko's men. Eko's henchman Olu also dies in the
ensuing gun battle.
Eko stands his ground when confronted by the militia men,
telling them that he is not afraid of them. In response, the leader
shoots and kills an innocent village woman.

After winning
Hurley wins the lottery, his grandfather dies of a heart attack during a press
conference. This is the first in a string of misfortunes that befall those
around Hurley, including Father Aguillar being struck by lightening and
presumably dying, and a man who jumps out the window at his accountant's office.
At a party, Hurley stepped on a deck that was deisgned to hold 8
people. There were 23 people on the deck at the time. The deck collapsed, and
two poeple died. Hurley feels responsible for their deaths, due to his size.

Jack chose to
save Boone when he was drowning while trying to save Joanna, who, ultimately did
die.
Jack loses a patient on the operating table when filling in
for his drunken father.
Jack had to choosed between operating
on Sarah and Adam Rutherford when they both entered the emergency room after
their car accident. Jack chose to operate on Sarah, and Adam Rutherford died.

Juliet worries that she (via Mittelos Bioscience) is responsbile for Edmund's death by bus.
|

Trying to escape
the authorities, Kate flees in a car. Tom is in the car with her when the car is
shot at, and crashes, and he dies.
|
|
|
Locke's legs
fail him, and he is unable to go up into the Beechcraft. Boone goes up in his
stead, and subsequently dies due to injuries suffered in the fall.
Locke brings Sawyer to the Black Rock to kill Anthony Cooper. Which Sawyer does when he learns that Cooper is the real Sawyer.

Sayid's friend
Essam kills himself when he discovers that Sayid was using him for information
for the CIA.
|
|
|
When her faher discovers that Sun is having an affair with Jae Lee, he sends Jin to kill him. Jin merely threatens Jae Lee to leave the country, but moments later, Jae Lee falls to his death.
