S1E22: Born To Run

|
|

|
Not actually heard during the episode but Born to Run naturally brings to mind Bruce Springsteen. This does seem to fit Kate.

Background music
Dies Irae (Day of Wrath) is a famous Gregorian Chant that describes
the day of judgment and is often sung as part of the Requiem Mass. Many
classical and contemporary musicians and composers have used this
descending phrase from Dies Irae to represent death, grieving or other
morbid themes in their music. It's the first line, "Dies irae, Dies
illa" (That day of wrath, that day), that bears similarities to the
Descending Third Motif. - Thanks to Raven at The Fuselage
Some audio samples of the Dies Irae can be heard at: Sample 1 Sample 2 Sample 3

Charlie: "Okay, check this out. This is track 2: it's called Monster Eats The Pilot."

New Kids on the Block
Kate and Tom dig up a New Kids on the Block lunch box filled with memorabilia. The group debuted in 1986 and had a string of hits especially through 1988 and 1989, which was the year that Kate and Tom recorded their tape and buried the lunch box. Hanging' Tough and The Right Stuff were two of their biggest hits. Ahh...go ahead, you know you want to, click on the links!
