"NowWhat" Rules

Entrants must be 18 years +.

Long Lost List "NowWhat's" are open only to USA residents. (except where prohibited by law). The entry form for each giveaway will specify the eligibility for that particular promotion. We realize that the LongLostList.com is part of the world wide web and welcome visitors from all countries. However, giveaways are usually sponsored by companies that hold the rights to sell/promote items in certain countries - which is why most giveaways are restricted to the USA.
The following persons and their dependents are not eligible to enter or win: employees of Long Lost List, advertisers, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of each of the above.
How to Enter
To enter online, simply complete the contest and enter using the short online entry form specific to the particular event/giveaway/quiz.
Frequency of Entries, Use of Multiple Email Addresses & Posting in Public Forums
Only one entry per email address, per contest/giveaway/quiz, will be counted.
It is strictly against the rules to post answers in public forums.
Please, do not submit entries from multiple email addresses - this is unfair to other visitors and when noted will cause all your entries to be voided.
Entry by Mail
Online entry is not necessary, as an alternative you may enter by writing your name, address, telephone number and email address (if available) on a card and sending it to: Long Lost List, PO Box 1630, Largo, Florida, 33779. This must arrive by the day the particular contest closes.
Dates & Drawings
All valid and current competitions will be linked from the Long Lost List's pages. Only competitions so linked are valid - even if the entry date appears to be current.
All drawings and contest dates will be announced on the "NowWhat" web page.
Terms & Conditions
Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Long Lost List, whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from these promotions. Long Lost List reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules.
By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Long Lost List, which shall be final. By participating in any Long Lost List quiz/giveaway, each participant agrees to release and hold Long Lost List and the employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives of Long Lost List, its advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the quizzes/giveaways;
or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
Neither Long Lost List, nor its sponsors, advertisers, agents, or representatives, are responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged, ineligible or postage due; or for any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the giveaway. The Long Lost List reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel any quiz/giveaway
at any time if a computer virus, bug or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play. All entries become the property of Long Lost List and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Any trademarks or copyrighted material used in this promotion are the property of the respective owners and are used herein for identification purposes only.
Selection of Winners and Notification
Winners will be selected at random from the list of eligible entries for any given competition/giveaway unless stated otherwise.
Winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the giveaway/quiz closing. Winners have 14 days from the time of notification in which to contact the Long Lost List and claim their prize. It is the responsibility of the winner(s) to claim their prize within the time allowed. All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
No prize substitutions are permitted except by Long Lost List as may be necessary due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Prizes will be mailed to winners, atLong Lost List's expense within 30 days of the winner's response. All taxes on prizes, including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of a prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winners assume all liability for any damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation or by any prize and release Long Lost List from any such liability.
Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner's name, and state/country (e.g. Claire Brown, San Jose, California) for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation.
Long Lost List guarantees that we will not sell, rent, or otherwise publicize the email addresses of entrants (unless express permission has been given by the entrant to provide this information to a third party) and will make every effort to protect the data while it is stored at Long Lost List.com.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Void in any location where participation is prohibited. In the event that any contest/quiz/giveaway is compromised in any way, electronically or otherwise, that is beyond the control of Long Lost List, we reserve the right to withdraw the transmission of this sweepstakes and award the remaining prizes among entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal.
